I will paint selected models. This is done at cost, time permitting. Please contact me with your request.

I don't do this to make money as that is impossible. It takes far too much time to paint a model. So, I simply charge my fixed costs and these typically amount to about $30 CDN in paint and materials and $20 CDN in UPS or FedEx shipping fees. Also, I may have to pay federal tax and delivery fees if the model comes in from outside the country and these can amount to another $15 CDN. All told, my total costs can easily amount to $65 CDN. This is about $50 US-$60 US. You are welcome to include an honourarium or other gift to compensate me for my service, but that's completely up to you.

I can try to source the model for you or you can ship your unassembled model to Canada. In many cases models are out of production and can't be found, so it is helpful if you already have the model on hand.

You must include an international money order sufficient to cover costs and return shipping fees. As discussed above, typical costs are about $60 US per model. You are welcome to include an honourarium.

Model bases are at additional cost and depend on complexity.
I can usually provide a simple wood base for an additional $10 fee.

Commissioned work usually takes 6 weeks to complete from the time the model is received.
It takes 4 weeks to do the work and another 2 weeks shipping time before you will see your model.

Progress reports can be sent via E-mail as work progresses.
