And now, with a head and a body and a sprinkle of magic, every resin model can come alive. This actually happened with Rei and now I find her acting like a typical teenager, loafing around in my workshop.

Here is the obligatory closeup of the model's face.

And this is another picture of Rei. When I look at this picture I sense that Rei is looking back at me, almost in a questioning way. This is good, because if I can see some emotion in the figure then I feel that I have achieved my modeling goal.

Here she is checking out her motorcycle. There are a few loose ends that I have to finish to complete the model, such as inserting the windscreen and building a proper base, but the job is nearing completion.

I was going to build a base for this model and then take some final pictures. But, I decided to postpone the base until I have completed the construction of Asuka. So these are the finished pictures in natural light. Click here for more.
